Wheelchair Trainer Certification
ISWP’s Wheelchair Service Provider Certification at the Trainer Level acknowledges that providers have received appropriate wheelchair service provision training and have the knowledge and experience to deliver the WHO Training of Trainers (ToT). Certified providers are acknowledged as a ISWP Certified Wheelchair Service Providers for 5 years on our website.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
STEP 1: Possess ISWP Wheelchair Service Provider Certification Basic Level
STEP 2: Submit proof of training
A. For those who have completed:
- A Training of Trainers course and,
- Co-trainings at the WSTP-Basic, WSTP-Intermediate, and/or WSTP-Manager levels, please complete the Trainee/co-trainee Competency Assessment (TCA).
The assessment is a form that is completed by the trainee trainer’s senior trainer and issued to ISWP for review.
Please download and request your trainers to complete one TCA form for each of the ToT you have completed and click on the button below to upload your documentation.

STEP 3: Pay the required fees
IMPORTANT
Ensure that you complete ALL activities on the Wheelchair Academy platform, upload the correct documents, and finish the training before proceeding with the payment. A certificate cannot be issued before ISWP have reviewed all the documentation. You will be notified when you can proceed with the payment.
