REQUIREMENTS
Possess a valid ISWP Wheelchair Service Provider (WSP) Certification.
Complete the ISWP Online Wheelchair Service Trainers Series at Basic or Intermediate Level (visit the ISWP Wheelchair Academy)

Submit proof of leading/co-training at least 1 training in the last 3 years.

Process for Appeal
- A WSP can appeal a certification or recertification decision by submitting the request to ISWP in writing within 14 business days after receiving the results notification. The appeal must include a detailed written explanation that specifically states the reason(s) for the appeal and why the appeal should be granted. Failing the examination alone is not sufficient grounds for an appeal.
- Please send your appeal to info@iswp.org. ISWP Certification and Recognition Committee (C&R) will assemble an Appeals Panel of three C&R Committee members who will review the appeal and exam results and issue a decision. Within two months of receiving the appeal letter, ISWP will provide a response to the candidate regarding the outcome of the appeal.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure that you complete all activities on the Wheelchair Academy platform, upload the correct documents, and finish the training before proceeding with the payment. A certificate cannot be issued before we have not reviewed all the documentation. You will be notified when you can proceed with the payment.
