ISWP’s Intermediate Wheelchair Service Provider certification acknowledges that providers have received appropriate wheelchair service provision training and have the knowledge at the intermediate level. ISWP’s current Intermediate Certification process is only available for agreed face to face training. ISWP no longer offers online certification at this level.
The Intermediate Wheelchair Service Provider Certification is valid for 3 years, when providers will be required to re-certify.

Course overview
The ISWP Wheelchair Service Provision Intermediate Test, based on the WHO Wheelchair Service Training Package – Intermediate Level (WSTP-i) and other evidence-based resources, is an assessment that measures the knowledge of wheelchair service providers at the intermediate level (who require complex seating).

Course content
The test consists of 91 multiple choice questions, takes approximately 120 minutes and is designed to test the knowledge of personnel who provide complex wheelchair and cushion for children and adults who need additional postural support to sit upright.

Intermediate Level
Complete and receive the ISWP Wheelchair Service Provider (WSP) Certification at the Basic Level (either online or face to face).
Complete a face to face Intermediate Wheelchair Service Provider Training and Certification
